Fairy Trails
Submission for the Transformation 2023 Game Jam.
Controls:
WASD to move character or targeter.
1,2,3 to swap between different action modes.
Pressing Q or E with the shovel will dig or place a pile of dirt.
Pressing Q with the watering can will expend a charge of it, placing a puddle on the ground. Use E on water tiles to refill the can.
Pressing 4 toggles your objectives.
Pressing Space will end a character's turn, if they are in Move mode. Use up and down arrows to cycle between characters without ending your turn.
After you've completed your tasks, return to the gate.
Unfortunately didn't get to polish everything as much as I would've liked too, but that's game dev, baby!
Known Issues
Characters blink when knocked down.
The endings are generally unsatisfying.

Cool game! Though the enemies don't seem like much of a threat most of the time. My main complaint would be the unsatisfying endings, for sure. But.. Yeah! Nice game! :D
found a bug. end the round at the same time the foes take their turn it locks up.
That's weird, I'll look into it.
I like it; it's certainly a cute little game. I'm not sure why, though, but the enemy pathfinding is really slow for me, to the point I thought the game had frozen a few times.
It was my first time actually making pathfinding, so it's pretty unoptimized. I've got a few ideas on how I can speed it up, though. Thank you for playing my game!
